The Collector's Room | 20.04-26.04

isola design district, milan design week

We're super happy to share that the Patella Crescenda has been invited to exhibit at The Collector's Room during Milan Design Week 2026 (April 20-26).

The exhibition, produced by WHO Design Studio and co-curated by Teo Sandigliano, is set up as a fictional domestic interior where design objects become artifacts of a life lived.

  • Not your average design exhibition

The Collector’s Room explores this question by presenting design as a form of personal narrative.

The space is envisioned as a collection shaped by experience, where a chair isn’t just for sitting, and a table isn’t just for dining. Instead, each piece contributes to a larger story.

  • Design as a companion for the everyday

The exhibition brings together industrial design and collectible craftsmanship, pairing technological experimentation with handcrafted detail. It’s an environment where materials feel both contemporary and organic, inviting visitors to slow down and consider design not as a product to be bought, but as a companion in everyday life.

  • Inspired by Nature

Nature is the silent thread connecting the exhibition, not as a mere excuse to talk about sustainability but as an integral part of the Collector's passions and experiences.

    .

The curated selection brings together designers from around the world, whose works suggest a deep connection between human life and the natural environment.

Visitors are invited to slow down, observe details, and reflect on a simple yet profound question: what do the objects we choose to collect reveal about us?

  • An International selection

The Patella Crescenda will be part of this curated interior, representing House of Thol among a selection of emerging and established designers from Europe, South America, and Asia.

  • Isola Design District

The exhibition takes place in the Isola neighbourhood, which is celebrating its tenth edition of the Isola Design Festival this year, and has become a staple in the Milan Design landscape.
We'd love for you to pay it a visit!
