How long for a package to leave the studio?

When you place an order in our webshop, our goal is to always have it out the door within 48 hours. 
Orders placed on Friday and in the Weekends are dropped off at the post office the following Monday.

To give you an idea about the way we manage your webshop order: we usually start out our day with preparing the orders from the day before and add the orders coming in before lunch. Orders placed after 13:00 are usually sent out the next day.

How do we package and ship your order?

Patella Crescenda, Waterworks and Waterworks cones are always shipped as a package (because well... they don't fit in a letter slot).


Flower Constellations, Seed Starter kits and Helios growth disks are either shipped as a letter (1 or 2 pcs), a package with or without track 'n trace code (3 pcs and up), or as a mailbox parcel for 3-6 pcs.

What mail carriers do you use?

For shipment within the Netherlands we rely on PostNL or DHL, which is usually fairly quick: Both letters and packages are normally delivered the next working day. 

When it comes to shipment to other countries we use PostNL, DHL or FedEx, whichever is best suited for the destination when it comes to delivery time and cost.

Since we live close to the German border, we regularly use Deutsche Post for mailbox orders within the EU, as they still offer an official way to mail small goods via letters.  
So don't be surprised if you receive your order with a German postage stamp!

What to do when a product arrives broken

We carefully pack our products to reach you safely, but unfortunately, things can occasionally get damaged along the way. If that happens, please contact us immediately.

To help us resolve this quickly and smoothly, please email us the following:

  1. A photo of the unopened parcel
    (clearly showing the shipping label and any visible external damage)
  2. A photo of the parcel when opened (clearly showing inner packaging and product placement).
  3. Close-up photo(s) clearly showing the damage.
  4. A photo of the entire damaged product.

Please keep the damaged product and its original packaging until the issue is resolved.

We'll take care of the rest and will make sure you quickly receive a suitable solution.

What about delays?

Well... they happen.

Obviously, we're at the mercy of the postal services, who in their turn, have to deal with weather conditions and other situations they may not be able to control (like for example a global pandemic...).

​Also, customs might sometimes delay delivery, although so far we've been rather lucky with that. 

If you need a product before a certain date or event, make sure to place your order on time.

What should I do if my package doesn't arrive?

If your package hasn't arrived within the expected delivery timeframe, please contact us as soon as possible. We'll immediately investigate and help track down your shipment.

Here's what we'll do:

  • Check the shipping status and contact the carrier directly.
  • If the package appears lost, we'll either arrange a replacement or find another suitable solution.

Please reach out via email, and we'll make sure you're taken care of quickly.

Do you offer express shipment?

Of course we are happy to look into express shipment possibilities for you.

What does 'Carbon Neutral Shipment on all orders' mean?

With every order you place, we contribute 15 cents to innovative companies actively removing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.

This offsets the environmental impact of shipping, ensuring our deliveries are carbon-neutral.
