la macchina in panne
It started with a tapping and scraping sound, then a sudden bang, and the unmistakable clatter of marbles scattering across the street.
And just like that, silence.
In the picturesque Tuscan village of Montescudaio, our faithful old Skoda finally called it quits after an impressive 465,000 kilometers.
With our trusty old car towed away, we found ourselves stranded. Stranded in paradise.
The repair took a full 10 days—much longer than we expected. But we stayed loyal to our old wagon, patiently waiting as the local repair shop worked their magic.
Yesterday, we were finally back on the road, heading home in our beloved Skoda.
Of course, arriving home a week later than planned means there's a bit of a backlog waiting for us. But we're ready to dive in and start the season off strong.
We can't wait to catch up with you soon!
