What is the GDPR?
The GDPR is the new European legislation meant to replace the 1995 Data Protection Directive

About data processing
Shopify
This webshop runs on the software provided by Shopify.
Personal information that you make available to us for the purpose of our services will be shared with this party.
Shopify has access to your data to provide us with (technical) support, they will never use your data for any other purpose.
Shopify uses cookies to collect technical information related to your use of the software, no personal data is collected and/or stored.
Tucows, Inc.
To provide domain services, Shopify Inc. partners with a registrar called Tucows, Inc.
Tucows, Inc. processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes.
This party may collect metadata about the use of the services. This is not personal data.
Tucows, Inc. has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent the loss and unauthorized use of your personal data.
Tucows, Inc. is bound to confidentiality under our contract.
SendinBlue
We collect e-mail addresses and send out newsletters with the software provided by Sendinblue.
Sendinblue processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes.
You have the simple option to unsubscribe via the link in the newsletter or by replying with a 'please unsubscribe' e-mail.
Your data will subsequently be deleted from our mailing list.
Sendinblue uses cookies and other Internet technologies that provide insight into whether emails are opened and read.

Mollie
We use the platform Mollie to handle a portion of the payments via our online store.

Mollie reserves the right to use your data to further improve the service and, as part of this, share anonymized information with third parties.
Mollie does not retain your data longer than permitted by the legal time limits.
Myparcel
We use the services of MyParcel to ship the orders placed in our webshop.
This requires us to share your name, address and residence information with MyParcel.
MyParcel uses this data only for the purpose of executing the agreement.
In the event that MyParcel engages subcontractors, MyParcel will also make your data available to these parties.
PostNL
We use the services of PostNL to ship some of the orders placed in our webshop.
This requires us to share your name, address and residence information with PostNL.
PostNL uses this data only for the purpose of executing the agreement.
In the event that PostNL engages subcontractors, PostNL will also make your data available to these parties.
Google Analytics
Through our website, cookies are placed by Google, as part of the "Analytics" service. We use this service to track and get reports on how visitors use the website.
This processor may be required by applicable laws and regulations to provide access to this data. We have not allowed Google to use the obtained analytics information for other Google services.

We store your data for as long as you are a House of Thol customer and/or subscriber.

Applicable administrative obligations require us to retain invoices containing your (personal) data, we will therefore retain this data for as long as the applicable term runs.

You always have the right to have the data amended that we process (or have processed) and that relate to your person or are traceable to you.
You can make a request to that effect to our privacy contact person, who is obliged to respond within 30 days.
If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation at the e-mail address known to us that the data has been rectified.
Right to restriction of processing
You always have the right to restrict the data we process (or have processed) that relate to your person or can be traced back to you.
You can make a request to that effect to our privacy contact person, who is obliged to respond within 30 days.
If your request is granted,we will restrict the processing of your data until you remove the restriction.
Right to transferability
You always have the right to have the data we process (or have processed) that relates to your person or can be traced back to you by another party.
You can make a request to that effect to our privacy contact person, who is obliged to respond within 30 days.
If your request is granted, we will send you copies or transcripts of all data about you that we have processed or have processed on our behalf by other processors or third parties at the e-mail address known to us.
In all likelihood, we will no longer be able to continue providing services in such a case, as secure linking of data files can no longer be guaranteed.
Right of objection
In appropriate cases, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data by or on behalf of House of Thol.
If you object, we will immediately cease data processing pending resolution of your objection.
If your objection is well-founded, we will make copies and/or copies of data that we process (or have processed) available to you and thereafter cease processing permanently
